The seventh edition of the tournament kicked off this weekend in Tarragona
The VCF Foundation's sports-educational activity helps individual and collective improvement in each of the 20 schools where it is implemented
Angelina is a 12-year-old student at the Madre Petra School in Torrent, where the VCF Foundation develops its sports-educational project Escoles Cor Blanquinegre, an activity aimed at motivating students for their improvement in the personal, family, friendly and school environment and a tool for teachers for the individual benefit of each student and the collective benefit of the entire center.
Precisely, and in recognition of Angelina's effort to improve every day, she was able to personally meet two football players from the Valencia CF men's and women's first teams, who are references for her: Gabriel Paulista and Kerlly Real.
When they arrived," explained Angelina, "I went straight to hug Kerlly and Paulista because I didn't even expect them to sign the ball... it was a surprise".
Paulista invited Angelina to "continue with your dreams and keep going like this" and Kerlly remarked "combine work and talent and always fight".
The VCF Foundation launched Escoles Cor Blanquinegre nine seasons ago, with the support of the Diputació de València, getting involved each year in 20 schools in Valencia and province with a social context not without difficulties, directly benefiting an average of 300 people and indirectly about 3,500.
Since the 2015-16 season, coaches from the VCF Academy, Valencia CF Femenino and the VCF Footballers Association have been giving weekly training sessions in each of the schools.
